Hope in Rwanda

< Back to News

Team Hope work with our partners in Rwanda to support survivors of Rwanda’s 1994 genocide in which some 800,000 people were killed.

Together with our partners we provide micro loans and training to support the growth of small businesses. The aim of this project is to help people to start or to upgrade their small business so they can overcome their poverty and become self-sufficient.

Our partners provide counselling, socio-economic development as well as establishing an alternative family on community level.

This is such a beautiful and wholistic way to care for genocide survivors and their families. The activities are extended to victims of HIV/AIDS and other hurting poorest families and people.
