How can I get involved?

Your support means our programmes can reach more children and change more lives.

Volunteering

Our Christmas Shoebox Appeal relies heavily on the help from our communities – both businesses and individuals. We have 50 + checking centres around the country that require over 2,000 volunteers to help us check, pack and load the shoeboxes before sending.

Fundraising

Raise money for Team Hope with your very own fundraiser. We have been blessed to have some wonderful people, groups and businesses fundraise for us through a range of inventive events from running a marathon, to hosting a bake sale or running a clothing-swap evening with your friends. If you would like to fundraise for Team Hope, we would be more than happy to help by providing you with some resources and suggestions.

Schools

Schools, students and teachers can play a huge role in helping other children affected by poverty. From pre-school to secondary school there are plenty of ways to get involved with Team Hope and truly make a difference from our Christmas Shoebox Appeal to Confirming Hope.

Churches

Churches and communities of faith around Ireland provide wonderful support to Team Hope, either through involvement in the Christmas Shoebox Appeal or through support to our sustainable development programmes. If your church is interested in finding out more get in touch and we’ll be happy to send more information or arrange for a member of the team to visit.

Corporate partnerships

For corporates and businesses looking to partner with our charity, we have a corporate partnership programme which includes opportunities for you and your colleagues to give or volunteer, directly supporting aspects of Team Hope’s work here in Ireland. If you would like to get your organisation involved either as part of our Christmas Shoebox Appeal or sustainable development programmes then we can help you to develop a plan.
