Maria from Romania is 7 years old. She and her three sisters share what clothes and shoes they have between them. They live in social housing but can barely afford essentials. When the girls received their Christmas Shoeboxes their eyes sparkled to see so many new and beautiful things!

Clovisin Burundi is 6 years old. His family cannot afford nursery school, so toys are rare treats. He was amazed by his new toy, clothes, toothpaste, toothbrush, and soap.

“I couldn’t hold my smile. Thank you to all for these gifts,” he said joyfully.

Tamandani Bondo in Malawi is 12 years old. From his Christmas Shoebox he said his favourite thing was a toothbrush because he had never had one before.

He said that owning one like the other children made him feel proud.
