FREE COPY AVAILABLE FOR ALL PRESCHOOLS!
Bunny’s Shoebox Journey is our beautifully illustrated story that introduces young children to the joy of giving, the importance of sharing and the difference one small act of kindness can make.

Following Bunny from Ireland to Malawi, children discover the journey of a Christmas Shoebox and meet Beatrice, the little girl who receives it.

With a special foreword by Dr Mary O’Kane, Lecturer in Psychology and Education and Parenting Expert, the book offers families and early-years educators a wonderful opportunity to explore generosity, empathy and the joy of thinking about others.

The book also includes real stories and photographs of children who have received Christmas Shoeboxes, an illustrated map, practical guidance on filling a shoebox and conversation starters for young learners.

Written by Rachel Browne and illustrated by Louise Dukes, in collaboration with NCAD. All proceeds support Team Hope.

From the Foreward by Dr. Mary O’Kane

Taking part in the Shoebox Appeal has become a tradition for myself and my daughter Kira. It is something we look forward to every year, and every Christmas Day we take a moment to think of the children who are receiving our Shoeboxes. I hope you enjoy reading Bunny’s Shoebox Journey to the children in your setting and that this becomes a tradition for you as well. The joy that each shoebox brings is priceless, and the valuable lessons that our children learn by taking part in this meaningful activity – a gift of love from one child to another – are priceless too.
