Nelly’s family miracle
Nelly is a mum of 5 in a country in Eastern Europe called Transnistria.
Her children work in their neighbours fields to earn money for food. The family have no bathroom or shower and they cannot afford school books or supplies.
The children were overwhelmed with their shoeboxes. They will use every single thing inside. The school age children were especially grateful to get school supplies and the eldest daughter was very happy with the puzzles.
When Nelly’s youngest son opened his shoebox, he found soap in there and his mum was delighted. They consider these gifts to be a Christmas miracle.
