Keelin O'Connor has committed to running a whopping 100km in one month in aid of Christmas Shoeboxes. It's not an easy time of year to commit to a daily run so THANK YOU Keelin- every single child who receives one of your shoeboxes will be grateful beyond what you will ever know!

Instead of running around collecting and checking shoeboxes this November, we will be running around Monaghan in the cold on the dark evenings after work- this should prove quite a challenge as we are both very unfit! We will aim to complete a 5k run in December all being well!!

Vlad looked for his puppy under the Christmas tree several times, but it wasn't there!

Here are just a few of the fundraisers being run by our volunteers to raise money for the Christmas Shoebox Appeal! The appeal is running ONLINE this year and every €20 raised will enable our partners overseas to put together a shoebox, which will then be delivered into the hands of a child affected by poverty.

“I am so, so, so happy to receive these wonderful gifts. A t home we rarely receive Christmas gifts, if we get a soda on Christmas day that’s huge. Now, I have a Christmas box full of gifts, toothpaste, tooth brushes, school supplies, clothes, etc. All I can say is woahhh!!!! Thank you, thank you Team Hope. Lots of kisses.”

What a fantastic number of Christmas Shoeboxes collected, 270,488 really is amazing!!! We’re thrilled to have revised this figure upward due to extra support received for our online campaign over Christmas.
